1. Army Museum Port Dickson

It took four years to build the military museum to preserve the military history. The museum has two ancient military buildings and nine exhibition halls. These galleries mainly cover the military history of Malaysia. There is a tunnel that provides information about European participation. Outside the museum, many military models, such as military aircraft, armoured vehicles and helicopters, are on display. Visitors are welcome to climb up to these hardware photos to take pictures as a remembrance.

Alive 3D Art Gallery is one of those interactive trompe l’oeil art galleries that have become very popular in Malaysia in recent years. As mentioned earlier, visitors can interact with paintings cleverly created by artists to make them look like 3D. Visitors are asked to enter the spirit and pretend as if they were part of the action described in the painting. Needless to say, you can take some interesting pictures of your social media.

This is a show farm, in addition to ostriches, goats, donkeys, turkeys, all kinds of chickens, cattle, guinea pigs, ducks and ponies for children to watch. All of the above animals are in the main show farm area, but there are two separate paddocks, you can pet their dog and cat collection for an extra fee.

4. Wan Loong Chinese Temple

Wan Loong Temple is located 7th mile of the Port Dickson coastal road, just across from PD World Marina Resort. The Chinese temple, with its magnificent buildings and magnificent fortress walls, is hard to miss on the left side of the main road if it moves south from the town of PD to Malacca. The name of the temple means “Dragon of the Clouds”, but it pays tribute to several oriental gods, including Kuan Yi (goddess of mercy) and the Monkey King. Opposite is an equally ornate seafood restaurant, similar to temple buildings. It is open during the day (even at night). As long as you explore quietly, the temple is free to enter.

5. Kota Lukut (Lukut Museum and Fort)

Kota Lukut is a historic fortress, 4 kilometers north of Port Dickson, perched on a scenic hill in a small town. The fortress, built in 1847 by Bugis warrior Raja Jumaat, it was his personal stronghold for observing tin trade in the area. Today, little remains of the building and its environs, with only a few destroyed walls and foot stones. The fortress has been transformed into a recreation park with terraces and viewing towers all over a small field. The museum at the foothills is a real tourist attraction, exhibiting historical and cultural artifacts from the mining era of Lukut. Admission is free from 09:00 to 18:00 every day.

6. Pantai Cahaya Negeri

It is a seaside resort between 5 and 6 miles from Port Dickson, with many resorts, hotels and apartments nearby. Some claim that this is the best beach in the police station to balance natural beauty, tranquility and public facilities. The sea water here is also quite clean, reflecting blue-green and good visibility. At the same time, the soft, powdery sand here in the afternoon sun appears particularly seductive, flashing white light. A recreation park is located on a small corner in the east, surrounded by a wooden bridge leading to a small mangrove island (Pulau Burung).

7. Saujana Beach

Saujana Beach is located four miles from Port Dickson and extends 1 kilometer along the beach, starting at Avillion Beach Resort until Pantai Cahaya Negeri. The main entrance is opposite Saturday’s night market website, but several gravel paths meander to the beaches between hotels around them. Near a quiet location in the town of PD, the sand is famous for its soft and powdery texture, while the ocean is clean and gentle. Water sports are limited to a small number of jet and banana boat operators, which helps to maintain a calm environment. Spacious beaches also make it a popular place for camping, kite flying and couples looking for a long stroll.

8. Teluk Kemang Beach

Teluk Kemang is the largest and most popular beach of Port Dickson, located between 7th and 8th mile from PD town. On weekends and public holidays, the beach gets unbelievably crowded with visitors, while the sea becomes frenzied from motorised water sports. There are many bus companies in Singapore that provide direct bus services to Port Dickson. The whole trip takes about five hours, including a washroom break.
