Waku Waku is a newly opened dessert house inspired by Japanese style. It is just next to Omaya Mount Austin. You can have a filling meal at Omaya and walk to the next door to have dessert. The shop has a simple minimalist design interior. It is mostly in white, light brown and also greenery plants as decoration. Its signature food is their waffle and ice-cream although the price is a bit steep especially for the locals. Their waffle and toppings are handcrafted and created with taste and texture in mind.

Rowan & Parsley Food Atelier is a place for quiet and tasty food. You will be surprised to discover is sanctuary in the industrial area along the highway towards pasir gudang. This cafe was set up after the industrial factory was brought over by the owner and modified into a cafe with large panels of full height glass being used. During the day, these help to induce natural daylight which helps patrons to feel very bright and refreshing. Within the outdoor landscape, the garden is where the greenery on our dining table came from. Their flaky crust contrasts perfectly with the creamy, gelish, chocolatey filling; which makes this tart a truly unique combination with the aftermath earl grey fragrant. They also have provided the weekdays set lunch and special brunch.

This cafe is inspired by Melbourne’s coffee and brunch culture. It created The Replacement in 2015 by injecting new life into a 1940s heritage shophouse on the historic Jalan Dhoby. There’s something to be said about the unique café culture in Melbourne, and their dream was to bring this experience to our local community. Their establishment has since grown from a quirky little café to a go-to destination for dining and lodging in Johor Bahru. Their signature food is the breakfast platter. It filled with buttery scrambled eggs, sausage, slices of beef pastrami, mushrooms, bake beans and bread with smoked salmon add-ons, this platter will definitely fill your stomach and satisfy your palate. Those slices of smoked beef are well seasoned and tasty. Scrambled eggs are consistent and buttery throughout, and the smoked salmon is not overly salted. A sliced tomato and the baked beans lighten up the meal with a taste of sweetness. When the meats and egg are consumed with the muesli bread, the taste of the platter becomes one that is delicious and enjoyable. Of course, they also provide another delicious food at there, such as egg benny, soft shell crab bao with fries and churros.
