The line is still at the Chin Swee Station where you can disembark at no extra cost to explore the breathtaking Taoist temple of the same name. Remember to keep your ticket, as it needs to continue your journey, whether to SkyAvenue or Awana stations.

6. Awana Horse Ranch

Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm is a family-friendly attraction in Genting Heights, where you can spend an afternoon exploring many of its colorful fruit farms and flower gardens. Set within Bandar Gohtong Jaya, it’s accessible within a six-minute drive from the Genting Premium Outlets and Awana Skyway cable car station. Genting strawberry leisure farm provides various vegetables, flowers and mushrooms, and exports to all parts of the country. You can also pick your own strawberries straight from the orchards, which costs about RM8++ for every 100g. One of its most unique features is the lavender garden, which is equipped with a unique fountain, surrounded by full bloom of lavender. A variety of kiosks can be found throughout the farm to sell honey, cacti, clothes, soft toys and souvenirs, while visitors can enjoy a simple dish in the on-site strawberry theme restaurant.

10. Butterfly Wonderland Genting

Accessible within a five-minute drive from Genting View Resorts, the butterfly area is also fitted with a miniature waterfall, which houses colourful Japanese koi fish and freshwater turtles. World of Phalaenopsis Genting is an expansive farm in Genting Highlands, where visitors can find an assortment of exotic orchids. It covers an area of about 6500 square meters and is the largest grower of Phalaenopsis in Malaysia. There are more than 390 species of orchids growing on the top of Phalaenopsis clouds, with pink, yellow, purple and white in all colors. The world of Phalaenopsis not only exports flowers to luxury hotels and restaurants across Malaysia, but also its farms are open to the public. Happy Bee Farm Cloud Top provides visitors with first-hand, but safe experience, where bees are planted in Genting Highlands. There are butterfly farms, cafes and retail stores that sell reasonably priced products such as bee pollen, propolis and natural honey. There are live displays all day, and you can see a swarm of bees passing through a transparent panel, from building hives to collecting pollen and nectar from many plants and trees on farms. An experienced beekeeper also appeared in one of the presentations, collecting raw honey from the hive and surrounded by thousands of flying thorns. Happy Bee Farm Genting is also an educational hub for those looking to learn more about bees, featuring extensive displays of bee specimens, ecological life system, and various hive formations. 13. Chin Swee Caves Temple

Chin Swee Caves Temple is a Taoist temple located on 28 acres of rock woodland in Genting Highlands, where locals often hold religious ceremonies and enjoy a quiet atmosphere. It was erected in honour of Reverend Master Chin Swee, a Buddhist monk from the Fujian Province who was renowned for his ability to summon rain and drive away evil spirits. One of the temple’s most recognised landmarks is a nine-storey Pagoda, which is fitted with images of Buddha and thousands of blessing lamps. Tourists can climb the steps leading to the top of the tower, where they can see a panoramic view of the top of the mountain. There are huge Buddhist statues and Guanyin statues in the temple, as well as complex animal sculptures and inscriptions of ancient Chinese traditions and beliefs.
