For more than a decade, Batu Cave has been the climbing center of Malaysia. The limestone formation, located about 11 kilometers north of Kuala Lumpur, features 160 climbing routes on a 150-meter-high hillside. There is also free access to the cliffs, some of which are easily accessible from the ground and are great for beginners. In the morning, expect a lot of requests for specific areas and you must get there early and choose the right area for your level of expertise. You’ll also need to pack your own gear. The outdoors makes climbing here a pleasure.

Petronas Art Gallery is home to over 1,000 works of art that range from contemporary paintings and photographs to traditional costumes and crafts. Established in 1993, to support the development of arts in the country, the free gallery features an elegant and brightly-lit space as well as a regular program of changing art, craft and design exhibitions. Even though it’s free to enter, the attention to detail is evident.
3. KL Go Green Car-Free Morning

KL city center is known for its often-chaotic traffic, but most roads are completely closed to motor vehicles for two hours on the first and third Sundays of each month. Dubbed the “green car-free morning”, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities between 7am and 9am, such as cycling, jogging, rollerblading and skateboarding. On special occasions, free zumba or aerobic events are held at Dataran DBKL square, about a 10-minute walk from the Kuala Lumpur city museum of art.
4. Thean Hou Temple

Buddhist temples are a free tourist attraction in Kuala Lumpur, while the temple complex is the largest (and most visited) complex in Kuala Lumpur. This stunning six-story temple is just a 10-minute drive from Megamall and the Gardens Mall in nakagaya. It commemorates Tian Hou, who was said to protect fishermen, but there is also a statue of Guan Yin. Inside the temple, you can see traditional designs, such as bold red pillars decorated with ornate carvings and hand-painted murals, as well as a traditional Chinese medicine garden, turtle pond, and a sacred linden tree.
5. Fitness Community Classes

Kuala Lumpur has many fitness community classes, from clinics and boot camps to outdoor yoga and pilates. International fitness brands such as Lululemon Athletica Malaysia and Lorna Jane Malaysia offer free yoga classes at their flagship stores in Kuala Lumpur on weekends. If you are interesting yoga, that’s highly recommend a weekly community yoga class at APW Bangsar from 9:00-10:00 every Saturday. Although the course is free, please note that you need to bring your own mat.
6. Visit KLCC Park

Here you can enjoy 50 acres of land designed by the late Roberto Burle Marx. There are plenty of places to sit down, a 1.3km jogging track, a swimming pool and a children’s playground. In the evening, symphony lake fountain put on a music water show. If you want to get here, you can take a taxi or the Kailana Jaya light rail line, which stops right under the twin towers (KLCC). If you are coming out of the mall, take the escalator to the ground floor (G) and head to the bubble elevator in the center of the mall. The entrance to the park is opposite the elevator. If you like walking, air-conditioned KLCC to Bukit Bintang Pedestrian Walkway if you’re near to the Bukit Bintang area or Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
7. Walk in KL Forest Eco Park

This hidden treasure is proudly one of the oldest forest reserves in Malaysia. The millions of years old rainforest is a popular hiking destination for locals and tourists alike. Its newest 200-meter canopy trail offers visitors a good view of the surrounding forest and city skyline. It’s an experience not to be missed. The Malaysian forest service offers guided Tours at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. If you want to go camping, you can ask permission in advance.

2. Bus & Coach From Singapore To Kuala Lumpur
If you travel according to budget, consider taking a bus. The bus ticket can be booked online.
