BOH plantation is Malaysia’s largest tea brand with three major farms in the highlands of Cameroon, namely Sungai Palas, Habu Ringlet and Fairlie Estate. Sungai Palas Boh tea center is a relatively new place that includes a tea garden, cafe, gallery, tea factory and souvenir shop. Here, you can enjoy the plants and tea grown in the rolling mountains while sipping glass tea in their cafe. Dining is divided into indoor and outdoor. Most tourists will first look for an outdoor seat, where the view is better and the wind is stronger. The interior is also nice because all the tables are set up by the window and you can still enjoy the amazing view while you drink your tea. The cafe serves simple meals of bread, sandwiches, pies and cakes, accompanied by famous teas. You may want to try the highly recommended Nasi Lemak cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake, and banana cake.  Boh Sungai Palas cafe is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every day except Mondays. Weekdays are certainly a better option, but weekends are fine, even if crowded.

2. Strawberry Cottage

This cake shop and cafe in Brinchang offers a wide selection of sweet treats and desserts. Strawberry cottage, a stone’s throw from butterfly farm, is one of the best family-friendly cafes in Cameron Highlands. Customers have unlimited options to satisfy any sugar craving (think homemade cookies and ice cream). Order a BOH tea with brownies from a nearby plantation, or a vanilla latte with a slice of their signature carrot cake. Adventurous types can try nasi lemak cheesecake, which is not found anywhere else in Malaysia.

My Cake Home is probably the best dessert shop in Cameron Highlands, with the largest selection of sweets, from cakes to hot desserts. Rainbow cake (RM7.50) looks beautiful, with subtle flavors on some layers, with mint passing through most prominently. Lava cake (RM8.50) took some time, but it was worth it. It may not look like much, but it’s a gooey, soft treat with melted chocolate in the middle and a slightly crispy crust. Stir-fried durian (RM10) is a masterpiece (or break the deal if you can’t stand durian). The heavy batter contains a large piece of durian flesh that oozes like a frozen river when you break it up.

4. The Lord’s Café

If you eat scones at Google in Cameron Highlands, chances are you would always end up with the Lord’s Café in Tanah Rata. Set amid a row of shop houses, this quaint little cafe has become a household name for tourists who come to enjoy the Cameron family’s chilly weather. It is a very modest setting, reminiscent of an English farmhouse, with Christian accessories such as commemorative verses and pictures that make it a popular place. But it was their food, especially scones, that made them famous among Cameron’s highland visitors.

5. Rosette Café

Rosette Cafe in Tanah Rata combines a cafe and a western fusion restaurant. The orange walls were decorated with colorful flowers. The dim lighting creates a more unique environment. Wake up with a cup of coffee and a light breakfast of scones and a dolce of local strawberry jam. Or drop in for afternoon tea and an early dinner. It is one of the most popular coffee shops in Cameron heights, with a medium scale international visitor.

6. Jim Thompson Tea Room

Cameron Highlands Resort’s Jim Thompson Tea Room combines elegant cafes with English afternoon tea. Rattan armchairs beside spacious windows overlooking the golf course fill the classic interior. Compared to other coffee shops in Cameron Highlands, the mellow piano music serenades customers in a more formal setting. Enjoy afternoon tea, pastries and scones in the air of a colonial plantation bungalow. The Jim Thompson tea room also offers three-tiers of finger foods, such as oven fresh pastries, delicate sandwiches, homemade scones, clove cream, strawberry jam and plump strawberries, complemented by a pot of Cameron highland tea!

7. 200 Seeds Café

Not only can you sample strawberry sambal at the 200 seed cafe, you can also pick strawberries at Abang strawberry. Besides, they have a gift shop. Recommend the nasi lemak sambal strawberry. The popular Nasi Lemak is said to balance sour and spicy flavors well. Guests can also try strawberry tea. There are other things on their menu. Their scones are delicious. There is a photo booth and the farm offer some good photo opportunities. This is a good place for the whole family to visit. Set aside at least two hours to enjoy your dinner and pick strawberries.

8. Bharat Cameron Valley Tea House

Bharat Tea Estate is located on the main road from Ringlet to Tanah Rata. A beautiful view of the property is available from the tea and souvenir shop on Tanah Rata boulevard, about 5 km from linjie. The first teahouse offers walking along the valley to a small park and waterfall, while the second teahouse accommodates more traffic with a larger parking space. Both centers have product shops and cafes, with terraces overlooking impressive valley views. The cafe offers some special blends inspired by Sri Lankan and South Indian flavours, such as Masala Chai and Cardamom Tea.

2. Bus & Coach From Singapore To Cameron Highlands

If you travel according to budget, consider taking a bus. The bus ticket can be booked online.
