The famous Kuang Fei’s restaurant has expanded to other states such as Malacca, Kuala Lumpur and Kluang over the years, while its first outlet is located here in Tangkak.
A bowl of beef noodles, of course, has different parts of beef, but you can also choose beef balls or beef tendons, as well as high foot noodles, shallots and pickles. The broth itself is clear and delicious, with a hint of spice.

Clay pot beef is similar to bah kut teh, but rather just replacing the pork with beef, while steamed beef is one of their specialties, cut so thinly that it melts in your mouth! Therefore, it needs to be booked via mobile phone in order to taste the mouth-watering beef!

Jia Jia Bak kut teh is a culinary paradise that must not be missed if you visit the city.Locals highly recommend this meal, and they’re right! Tee Kok Hua, founder of Kedai Makanan Kim Yuan, started selling chicken from a mobile stall in 1980 and gradually, locals responded well to his food. Since then, he has expanded his business from a stall to the chicken restaurant you see today.
Don’t forget to order their specials; The signature dish is chicken rice braised in a soy sauce broth with 10 ingredients and Pork Mix Soup cooked in a pot with herbs and ingredients mixed to make it tender and juicy.

Restoran Nasi Ayam Ali
Another place that sells delicious chicken rice is curry rice. Chicken rice attracts customers from far and wide!
Owner Ali, a self-taught chef, sells about 30 chickens a day! The delicious chicken rice goes well with the five hot sauces the restaurant offers.
Customers can choose from four existing flavors of chili sauce; black soy, ginger sauce, sweet sauce and sour chilli sauce. The fifth chili sauce is the last of the best, and the chef only serves it when someone orders it in person.

Kedai Mee Dan Nasi Chew Kee Tangkak
This traditional homemade noodle dish has been run by the Ng’s family since the 1940s and is still serving the public!
Now, the third generation, the grandson of Ng Whye Chow, runs the restaurant, and the noodles haven’t stopped since the beginning. This recipe has been passed down from generation to generation and exudes a delightful flavor.
You will get a bowl of linguine or round noodles, very springy, topped with grilled char siew, mixed with their own homemade soy sauce and fried onion oil, and served with a bowl of wantan noodle.
Don’t forget their signature roast pork belly with crispy skin that will leave you wanting more with every bite!
